Our open access colonoscopy program makes colon cancer screening more accessible for everyone. It allows healthy people, age 50 and older, the option to schedule a screening colonoscopy without the inconvenience of an initial office visit. You’ll save both time and the cost of an office co-payment.

Colonoscopy is advised for all individuals, age 50 and older, as a method of colon cancer screening. Patients with significant illnesses (poorly controlled diabetes, significant cardiac disease, severe breathing problems, and kidney problems) are advised to schedule a consultation prior to the procedure.

When we talk, we’ll complete a health questionnaire and decide if the open access colonoscopy program is the best choice for you. If it is, we will schedule your procedure.

What if open access colonoscopy is not for me?

Keep in mind: open access colonoscopy is not always the best option for everyone. Patients with the following conditions may be advised to schedule an office visit before the procedure:

Underlying abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits, blood in the stool, or any other gastrointestinal issues
Significant illnesses (poorly controlled diabetes, significant cardiac disease, severe breathing problems, kidney problems)
